.DISCUSSION...
A strong cold front will pass through western and north central
Nebraska tonight, leading to an increased threat for showers and
thunderstorms across the area. After highs in the upper 80s to
upper 90s today, much cooler temperatures behind the exiting cold
front are expected Wednesday and Thursday. Highs Wednesday will be
in the 60s to lower 70s with lower to middle 70s forecast for
Thursday. Highs will rebound back into the 80s for Friday through
Sunday with 90s possible on Monday. Given the threat for
precipitation and abundant low level moisture, fire weather
concerns will be fairly minimal over the next 7 days.
