This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and north
central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Critical fire weather conditions are expected this afternoon until
mid-evening for all of west central Nebraska. The concern is
southerly winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph and afternoon
humidity falling to around 20 percent. Any fire start will have the
potential for rapid spread and erratic behavior.

Southerly winds gusting up to 45 mph, with locally higher gusts
possible across north central Nebraska, are likely much of the day
today. This will lead to the threat of strong crosswinds affecting
primarily east-west routes.

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible as early as mid-
afternoon but more likely this evening for areas west of Highway 83
and north of I-80. A few stronger storms are possible with isolated
instances of damaging wind gusts.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
