This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and north
central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for northern and north
central Nebraska tonight through Saturday morning. Areas along and
north of Highway 2 may see snow accumulations up to 4 inches,
locally higher.

Further south, freezing drizzle or light freezing rain is possible
late this evening into the early overnight hours, most notably along
and south of Highway 2. This may create some slippery and hazardous
travel conditions. Precipitation is expected to switch over to snow,
with accumulations up to 2 inches, after Midnight which may cover
some of the icy patches.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Additional light snow is likely Saturday morning, ending by mid-
afternoon. Strong northwesterly winds gusting up to 40 to 45 mph
will lead to areas of blowing and drifting snow. The combination of
slick roads and reduced visibility will again lead to difficult
travel conditions across much of the area before winds diminish
Saturday evening.

Sub-zero wind chills are likely each morning Saturday, Sunday, and
Monday.

Additional light snow is possible Sunday night across southwest
Nebraska. At this time, snowfall amounts are expected to be light.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
