Last night temperatures ranged from the upper 50s in the Panhandle
to the low 70s in north central Nebraska. Skies were clear, with
light and variable winds.

Today, temperatures are expected to climb into the 90s across the
southern Sandhills and southwest Nebraska, with slightly cooler
temperatures in the mid to upper 80s across the northern Sandhills
and north central Nebraska. Skies are expected to be mostly clear,
outside of the chance for strong to severe thunderstorms late this
afternoon into the evening. Winds will mostly be out of the north
at 10 to 15 miles per hour.
