At 133 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking outflow winds ahead of a cluster of strong thunderstorms extending from near Cody to near Medicine Lake to 30 miles north of Ashby. Movement was east at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Valentine, Cody, Merriman, Kilgore, Nenzel, Medicine Lake, Merritt Reservoir, Crookston, Highway 97 crossing the North Loup River, Highway 61 crossing the Snake River, Eli, Steer Creek Campground, Schoolhouse Lake, Intersection of Highway 20 and Irwin Road, Cody Lake, Anderson Bridge State Wildlife Management Area, Round Lake, Schlagel Creek State Wildlife Management Area, Highway 61 Crossing The Niobrara River, and Indian Hill.
