...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL CHERRY AND
NORTHWESTERN HOOKER COUNTIES THROUGH 930 PM CDT/830 PM MDT/...

At 838 PM CDT/738 PM MDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a strong
thunderstorm 11 miles west of Mullen, moving north at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Highway 97 crossing the North Loup River, Marsh Flat, Highway 97
crossing Big Creek, Sevenmile Hill, and Hecla.

This includes the following highways...
 Highway 2 between mile markers 168 and 183.
 Highway 97 between mile markers 69 and 94.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in North Platte.
