...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT CENTRAL HOLT AND EASTERN BOYD
COUNTIES THROUGH 600 AM CDT...

At 520 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 9 miles south of Spencer to near Amelia.
Movement was northeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
O`Neill, Lynch, Amelia, Bristow, Emmet, Monowi, Opportunity, Spencer
Dam, Midway, Dorsey, Scottville, and Redbird State Wildlife
Management Area.

This includes the following highways...
 Highway 20 between mile markers 294 and 314.
 Highway 281 between mile markers 176 and 211.
 Highway 12 between mile markers 127 and 144.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 600 AM CDT for
north central Nebraska.
