High pressure extending from Kentucky south across the
gulf south will maintain cool, clear and dry conditions both today
and tomorrow. Lows Tuesday morning are expected to be a few degrees
warmer than this morning with most areas starting the day in the
40s. The surface high will drift east off the east coast by
Wednesday turning winds back out of the south which will pull
tropical gulf air into the region initializing a trend of warmer
temperatures and higher humidity Wednesday through the end of the
week.

(Thursday through Monday)

Consistent southerly winds will push afternoon highs
into the low to mid 80s Thursday through Saturday along with higher
dewpoints in the 60s possibly touching the lower 70s Friday. A weak
upper level disturbance will move across the region Friday which may
interact with the higher moisture to produce a few showers or
thunderstorms Friday.

Another cold front will push through the region Sunday morning
accompanied by a few showers or thunderstorms. A significantly
cooler airmass will filter into the region behind the front Sunday
through early next week.
