GMZ400-040615- 1213 PM CDT Wed Sep 3 2025 .Synopsis for Lower Atchafalaya River LA to High Island TX out 60 NM including Sabine and Calcasieu Lakes and Vermilion and Cote Blanche Bays... Light, variable winds will turn predominantly onshore by this evening where they will remain through Saturday. A weak frontal boundary is expected to push through the region Sunday turning light winds offshore in its wake. This boundary, which will stall somewhere over the northern gulf, will likely result in scattered showers and thunderstorms across the coastal waters Saturday through the middle of next week.
