Fire Weather Planning Forecast
National Weather Service Lake Charles LA
515 AM CDT Tue Jun 18 2024

.DISCUSSION...
A long fetch of deep tropical moisture into the region along the
eastern flank of Potential Tropical Cyclone 1 in the southwest
Gulf of Mexico will continue to produce widespread showers and a
few storms across the area today and Wednesday. Torrential
downpours will be possible in some of the showers along with gusty
winds. A trend toward a more seasonal convective pattern is
expected by late in the week.
