.DISCUSSION...

Higher rain chances will be found over southeast Texas and lower
southwest Louisiana today as an upper level ridge builds in from
the east. Meanwhile, low level southeast winds will continue humid
conditions with minimum afternoon relative humidity values staying
near or above 60 percent. Remember higher and more erratic wind
gusts may occur in and near the thunderstorms.

Sky/weather.........Mostly sunny (35-45 percent). Chance of showers
                    and thunderstorms, then slight chance of
                    showers and thunderstorms late in the
                    afternoon.
Max temperature.....Around 88.
Min humidity........67 percent.
Eye level winds.....Southeast winds up to 6 mph shifting to the
                    around 6 mph late in the afternoon.
Wind (20 ft)........Southeast winds 6 to 9 mph increasing to around
                    9 mph. Gusty and erratic winds expected near
                    thunderstorms.
