.DISCUSSION...

High pressure will remain in charge through the period keeping
today clear and only a 5 percent chance of showers and
thunderstorms Friday afternoon. Winds will prevail from the south
due to high pressure in the east, however, with very little
gradient in place through central LA, winds should remain fairly
low today.

Moisture will continue funneling inland today and minimum RH
values will hover around 50 percent.

Areas of fog are expected to develop again overnight into Friday.
However, overnight winds are expected to stay slightly elevated
which should limit how dense fog can become. There is a 20
percent chance of fog with visibility less than 1 SM Friday
morning.
