Coastal waters from Cameron LA to High Island TX out 20 NM...
Waters from Cameron LA to High Island TX from 20 to 60 NM...

At 740 PM CDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near High Island
116, or 17 nm northeast of High Island 157, moving southwest at 20
knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
         suddenly higher waves.

Locations impacted include...
High Island 136, High Island 110, High Island 52, High Island 170,
High Island 5, High Island 138, and High Island 116.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.

Frequent lightning is occurring with this storm. If caught on the
