Survey Summary:
A thunderstorm containing damaging descending rear inflow jet
winds up to 90 mph created a swath of damage across northern
Rapides Parish on May 26th 2025. Damage extended along a path
roughly from the Rapides Sheriffs Office Shooting Range, through
northern Pineville, and into rural areas of northeast Rapides
Parish. Damage consisted of large trees falling into several
homes, outbuildings ripped apart, and power poles pushed down.
