  Coastal waters from Cameron LA to High Island TX out 20 NM...

* Until 915 AM CDT.

* At 820 AM CDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near High Island
  52, or 9 nm northeast of High Island 63, moving northeast at 15
  knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  High Island 22, High Island 52, and Port Arthur.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.

Frequent lightning is occurring with this storm. If caught on the
