...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN BEAUREGARD...
SOUTHWESTERN VERNON PARISHES IN WEST CENTRAL LOUISIANA AND EAST
CENTRAL NEWTON COUNTIES THROUGH 200 AM CST...

At 121 AM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Bon Weir, moving east at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation and outdoor
         objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Merryville and Junction.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 300 AM CST for southwestern
and west central Louisiana...and southeastern Texas.
