...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN ST. LANDRY PARISH
THROUGH 200 PM CDT...

At 113 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Washington, or near Opelousas, moving northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation and outdoor
         objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Opelousas, Krotz Springs, Melville, Palmetto, Bayou Current, Port
Barre, Washington, Prairie Ronde, Grand Prairie, and Lebeau.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
