...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHERN JEFFERSON...HARDIN...
WESTERN ORANGE AND SOUTHERN JASPER COUNTIES THROUGH 815 PM CDT...

At 742 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Hardin, or 10 miles northeast of Liberty, moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation and outdoor
         objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Beaumont, Port Arthur, Nederland, Port Neches, Lumberton, Vidor,
Silsbee, Kountze, Sour Lake, Nome, Saratoga, Evadale, Central
Gardens, Bevil Oaks, China, Rose City, Pine Forest, Lakeview, Weiss
Bluff, and Honey Island.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
