Open Lake Forecast for Lake Erie

For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Erie

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...
Low pressure 29.70 inches will depart through the eastern Great
Lakes this afternoon allowing high pressure 30.30 inches to build
over Lake Erie tonight and Monday. Another area of low pressure
29.70 inches will lift into the Upper Midwest Tuesday. This low
will lift a warm front north through the region on Tuesday,
followed by a cold front on Wednesday as the low deepens to 29.20
inches over the northern Great Lakes. A surface trough averaging
29.90 inches will then linger across the area through Friday.

.MONDAY NIGHT...South winds around 10 knots. Rain likely

increasing to 15 to 20 knots. Rain during the day, then a chance
