For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...Lighter winds around the rest of this evening and
tonight as a ridge of high pressure, 30.20 inches, has arrived.
Light to moderate southerly flow on Monday. Next low pressure
system arrives on Tuesday, leading to widespread rain. Gales are
then likely to develop in Wednesday-Thursday time frame.

.REST OF TONIGHT...West winds 10 to 15 knots decreasing to 5 to
10 knots after midnight...then backing to the south early in the
morning. Waves 4 to 6 feet subsiding to 2 to 4 feet early in the
morning. Waves occasionally around 8 feet.
.MONDAY...South winds 10 to 15 knots increasing to 15 to 20 knots
in the late morning and afternoon. Waves 1 to 3 feet building to
4 to 6 feet in the late morning and afternoon. Waves occasionally
around 8 feet.
.MONDAY NIGHT...South winds 10 to 15 knots decreasing to 5 to
10 knots in the late evening and overnight. A chance of rain in
the evening...then rain likely after midnight. Waves 4 to 6 feet.
Waves occasionally around 8 feet.
.TUESDAY...Southeast winds 5 to 10 knots. Rain likely. Waves 1 to
3 feet.
.TUESDAY NIGHT...Southeast winds 5 to 10 knots increasing to
10 to 15 knots after midnight. Rain likely in the evening...then
rain after midnight. Waves 1 to 3 feet building to 2 to 4 feet
after midnight.
.WEDNESDAY...South winds 15 to 20 knots becoming southwest to
30 knots with gusts to 35 knot gales late in the morning...then
increasing to 40 knot gales late in the afternoon. Rain, snow.
Waves 6 to 9 feet building to 12 to 16 feet. Waves occasionally
around 20 feet. A gale warning may be needed.
.THURSDAY...West at 40 knot gales with gusts to 45 knot gales.
Snow early in the morning...then snow likely until early morning.
Waves 12 to 16 feet. Waves occasionally around 20 feet.
.FRIDAY...Northwest winds to 30 knots with gusts to 35 knot gales
decreasing to 15 to 20 knots. A chance of snow. Waves 8 to
12 feet subsiding to 5 to 7 feet until early morning. Waves
occasionally around 15 feet.
