Occasional wave height is the average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum. .SYNOPSIS...Broad low pressure tracks into New England tonight with a trailing surface trough pivoting across the southern Great Lakes. This system ushers in an arctic air mass with gusty north to northwest flow and snow showers through the early week. Gusty southwest flow follows on Tuesday as milder air arrives, then the next cold front passes through the Great Lakes on Wednesday. There is a low probability for gales on Tuesday and a moderate probability on Wednesday and Thursday.
