For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure, 30.10 inches, maintains light southerly
winds today, veering southwesterly into Saturday. A cold front
then brings showers and a few thunderstorms to the region with
time on Saturday. A cooler airmass settles over the Great Lakes
to close out the weekend, with some lake effect rain showers and
potential for waterspouts Monday and Tuesday.

A chance of waterspouts in the afternoon. Waves 1 to 3 feet
building to 2 to 4 feet in the late morning and afternoon.
.SATURDAY NIGHT...Southwest winds 10 to 15 knots veering to the
west in the late evening and overnight. A chance of waterspouts
in the evening. Waves 2 to 4 feet.
.SUNDAY...West winds 10 to 15 knots. A chance of showers in the
morning...then showers likely in the afternoon. Waves 2 to
4 feet.
.SUNDAY NIGHT...West winds 15 to 20 knots. A chance of showers.
Waves 3 to 5 feet.
.MONDAY...Northwest winds 20 to 25 knots decreasing to 15 to
20 knots late in the evening. Gusts to 35 knot gales. A chance of
showers. Waves 6 to 9 feet. Waves occasionally around 12 feet.
.TUESDAY...Northwest winds 15 to 20 knots with gusts to around
30 knots decreasing to 10 to 15 knots in the late evening and
early morning. Waves 5 to 7 feet. Waves occasionally around
10 feet.
.WEDNESDAY...West winds 10 to 15 knots backing to the southwest
until early morning. Waves 2 to 4 feet subsiding to 1 to 3 feet
