For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure, 30.20 inches, will persist across the
eastern Great Lakes today and tonight. Low pressure, 29.60
inches, is forecast to develop over western Lake Superior
Wednesday. This system will drive a strong cold front across Lake
Huron Wednesday night as it lifts into northern Ontario,
triggering showers and a few thunderstorms. Much cooler air will
advance across the Great Lakes in the wake of this system and
will persist across the area into the weekend.

light and variable...then becoming east 5 to 10 knots late in the
afternoon. Waves 2 feet or less.
.TONIGHT...Southeast winds 5 to 10 knots veering to the south
after midnight. Waves 2 feet or less.
.WEDNESDAY...South winds 10 to 15 knots. A chance of showers in
the morning...then showers and a chance of thunderstorms in the
afternoon. Waves 1 to 3 feet building to 3 to 5 feet in the late
morning and afternoon.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...Southwest winds 10 to 15 knots veering to the
west in the late evening and early morning...then becoming
northwest 15 to 20 knots after midnight. Showers and a chance of
thunderstorms in the evening...then a chance of showers after
midnight. Waves 3 to 5 feet.
.THURSDAY...West winds 15 to 20 knots becoming southwest 10 to
15 knots late in the evening. A chance of showers in the morning.
Rain showers likely late in the evening. Waves 3 to 5 feet.
.FRIDAY...South winds 15 to 20 knots with gusts to around
30 knots veering to the west with gusts to around 30 knots early
in the evening...then decreasing to 10 to 15 knots in the late
evening and early morning. Showers early in the morning. A chance
of showers early in the evening. Waves 3 to 5 feet.
.SATURDAY...West winds 15 to 20 knots with gusts to around
30 knots becoming northwest 10 to 15 knots in the late evening
and early morning. A chance of showers until afternoon. Waves
5 to 7 feet. Waves occasionally around 10 feet.
