For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A stalled low pressure system meanders over the
western Great Lakes today and Thursday. This will result in
southerly winds topping out in the 20 to 30 knot range today. The
system will drag a slow moving cold front across the region this
evening. A second strong cold front tracks southward across the
region on Friday.

.TODAY...Southeast winds 10 to 15 knots. A chance of rain in the
afternoon. Waves 1 to 3 feet building to 3 to 5 feet in the late
morning and afternoon.
.TONIGHT...South winds 10 to 15 knots becoming southwest 5 to
10 knots after midnight. A chance of rain in the evening. Waves
3 to 5 feet.
.THURSDAY...Southwest winds 5 to 10 knots. A chance of rain in
the morning...then rain in the afternoon. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...West winds 5 to 10 knots becoming north 15 to
20 knots by midnight...then increasing to 20 to 25 knots after
midnight. Rain. Waves 2 feet or less building to 3 to 5 feet in
the late evening and overnight.
.FRIDAY...Northeast winds 15 to 20 knots becoming north 10 to
15 knots late in the afternoon. Rain likely. Waves 3 to 5 feet
subsiding to 1 to 3 feet late in the evening.
.SATURDAY...North winds 10 to 15 knots decreasing to 5 to
10 knots in the late morning and early afternoon...then backing
to the northwest . Waves 2 feet or less.
.SUNDAY...West winds 10 to 15 knots increasing to 15 to 20 knots
with gusts to around 30 knots early in the evening...then
decreasing to 10 to 15 knots by midnight. Waves 1 to 3 feet
building to 2 to 4 feet.
