Open Lake Forecast for Lake Huron

For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure, 30.40 inches, lingers over Ontario,
building southeastward early this week. This leads to prolonged
moderate northeast winds over the central Great Lakes with mainly
dry conditions. Sporadic light shower chances exist over Lake St.
Clair and western Erie this evening and/or Tuesday night. A weak
low pressure system should emerge over the northern portion of
the Ohio Valley on Wednesday, and could lead to slightly broader
coverage of showers for the south-central Great Lakes on
Wednesday.

20 knots. Waves 1 to 3 feet building to 2 to 4 feet after
midnight.
.TUESDAY...East winds 15 to 20 knots decreasing to 10 to 15 knots
in the afternoon. Waves 2 to 4 feet.
.TUESDAY NIGHT...East winds 5 to 10 knots increasing to 15 to
20 knots. Waves 1 to 3 feet building to 2 to 4 feet in the late
evening and overnight.
.WEDNESDAY...East winds 15 to 20 knots decreasing to 10 to
15 knots early in the afternoon. Waves 3 to 5 feet.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...East winds 10 to 15 knots decreasing to 5 to
10 knots after midnight. Waves 2 to 4 feet subsiding to 1 to
3 feet in the late evening and overnight.
.THURSDAY...Southeast winds 5 to 10 knots in the morning
increasing to 10 to 15 knots...then becoming east 5 to 10 knots
late in the afternoon becoming light and variable. Waves 2 feet
or less.
.FRIDAY...Light and variable winds. Waves 2 feet or less.
.SATURDAY...Light and variable winds. Waves 2 feet or less.
