National Weather Service Detroit/Pontiac MI
338 PM EST Sun Nov 9 2025

For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...Low pressure passes from the Ohio Valley into New
England tonight with a trailing surface trough pivoting across
the southern Great Lakes. This system ushers in an arctic air
mass with gusty north to northwest flow and snow showers through
the early week. Gusty southwest flow follows on Tuesday as milder
air arrives, then the next arctic low drops into the northern
Great Lakes on Wednesday. There is a low probability for gales on
Tuesday and a moderate probability on Wednesday.
