Occasional wave height is the average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum. .SYNOPSIS...A compact low pressure system, 29.60 inches, moves through the Great Lakes tonight and the morning hours with showers and thunderstorms across most marine areas. North to northwest winds behind this system will increase tomorrow afternoon, ranging from 20 to 25 knots. Broad high pressure brings light and variable winds on Friday before the next low pressure arrives on Saturday.
