For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure, 30.30 inches, will remain centered over
the Great Lakes today through Tuesday, providing tranquil boating
conditions. Deepening low pressure is forecast across the
northern Great Lakes Wednesday which will drive a strong cold
front across Lake Huron. This system will cause an increase in
winds and waves and provide rain to the region late Wednesday and
Wednesday night.

.MONDAY...Light and variable winds. Waves 2 feet or less.
.MONDAY NIGHT...Southeast winds 5 to 10 knots early in the
evening becoming light and variable. Waves 2 feet or less.
.TUESDAY...Light and variable winds becoming south 5 to 10 knots
late in the evening. Waves 2 feet or less.
.WEDNESDAY...South winds 5 to 10 knots increasing to 10 to
15 knots until early evening...then becoming northwest 15 to
20 knots in the late evening and early morning. A chance of
showers early in the morning. A chance of thunderstorms in the
late morning and early afternoon...then showers likely until
early morning. Waves 2 feet or less building to 3 to 5 feet.
.THURSDAY...West winds 15 to 20 knots increasing to 20 to
25 knots with gusts to 35 knot gales until early evening...then
decreasing to 15 to 20 knots with gusts to around 30 knots in the
late evening and early morning. Showers likely early in the
morning...then a chance of showers in the late morning and early
afternoon. Waves 6 to 9 feet. Waves occasionally around 12 feet.

chance of thunderstorms in the late evening and early morning.

around 8 feet.
