Occasional wave height is the average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum. .SYNOPSIS...Weak low pressure tracks into the Great Lakes on Tuesday with widespread rain and modest winds. A stronger low pressure system arriving from the Midwest then rapidly deepens over the northern Great Lakes Wednesday into Wednesday night, leading to a long duration of gales through early Friday. Much cooler air arrives with snow squalls becoming likely Thursday into Friday.
