Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...Gusty north to northwest flow and snow showers
continue through the early week as a surface trough pivots around
broad low pressure departing New England. Gusty southwest flow
follows on Tuesday as milder air arrives, then the next cold
front passes through the Great Lakes on Wednesday. There is a low
probability for gales on Tuesday and a moderate probability on
Wednesday and Thursday.

15 knots after midnight. A chance of snow showers. Waves 3 to

early in the afternoon...then increasing to 15 to 20 knots late
in the afternoon. Rain and snow likely in the afternoon. Waves
2 to 4 feet.
.TUESDAY NIGHT...Southwest winds 15 to 20 knots. Rain and snow in
the evening...then rain after midnight. Waves 3 to 5 feet.
.WEDNESDAY...West winds 15 to 20 knots increasing to 30 knots.
Rain likely in the morning...then rain in the afternoon. Waves
6 to 9 feet building to 10 to 14 feet early in the afternoon.
Waves occasionally around 18 feet.
