For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A hybrid cold front and low pressure trough, averaging
29.80 inches, moves into the Great Lakes today and Thursday which
brings showers and thunderstorms to the marine zones. Strong to
severe thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon and evening.
North-northwest winds behind this system will increase on
Thursday, ranging from 20-25 knots.

early in the afternoon...then becoming light and variable late in
the afternoon. A chance of showers in the afternoon. Waves 1 to
3 feet.
.TONIGHT...Light and variable winds becoming northeast 5 to
10 knots after midnight. A chance of showers and thunderstorms in
the evening...then showers likely and a chance of thunderstorms
after midnight. Waves 2 feet or less.
.THURSDAY...North winds 10 to 15 knots increasing to 15 to
20 knots early in the afternoon. Showers likely in the morning.
Waves 1 to 3 feet building to 2 to 4 feet in the late morning and
afternoon.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...North winds 10 to 15 knots decreasing to 5 to
10 knots in the late evening and overnight. Waves 2 to 4 feet
subsiding to 1 to 3 feet after midnight.
.FRIDAY...Light and variable winds. Waves 2 feet or less.
