For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...Low pressure tracking into the Hudson Bay swings a
cold front across the Great Lakes this evening as a secondary
area of low pressure, 29.20 inches, forms along the front near
the northern Lake Huron shoreline. Secondary low and cold front
track into southern Ontario later this evening setting up strong
northwesterly winds into the central Great Lakes. Gale Warnings
are in effect for the bulk of Lake Huron this evening through
Sunday. High pressure, 30.20 inches, then begins to build in
starting Sunday night.

in the afternoon. Waves 5 to 7 feet. Waves occasionally around

.TONIGHT...Northwest winds to 30 knots with gusts to 40 knot
gales. A chance of rain in the evening...then a chance of rain
and snow after midnight. Waves 10 to 14 feet. Waves occasionally
around 18 feet.
.SUNDAY...Northwest winds to 30 knots increasing to 35 knot gales
in the late morning and afternoon. Gusts to 40 knot gales. A
chance of snow. Waves 14 to 18 feet. Waves occasionally around
23 feet. A gale warning may be needed.
.SUNDAY NIGHT...Northwest at 35 knot gales with gusts to 40 knot
gales decreasing to 20 to 25 knots with gusts to around 30 knots.
