236 FZUS63 KDTX 052045 GLFLH Open Lake Forecast for Lake Huron National Weather Service Detroit/Pontiac MI 345 PM EST Fri Dec 5 2025 For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum. .SYNOPSIS...A cold front will track through the Western Great Lakes tonight and through the Central Great Lakes tomorrow, washing out in the process. Short lived high pressure returns tomorrow evening. Another low pressure system, 29.90 inches, tracks across the southern Great Lakes Sunday morning bringing light snow to the area. Brief strong northwest winds will follow for late Sunday over Lake Huron.
