* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Northwestern Jefferson Parish in southeastern Louisiana...
  Northern Lafourche Parish in southeastern Louisiana...
  Central St. Charles Parish in southeastern Louisiana...
  Eastern St. James Parish in southeastern Louisiana...
  Southwestern St. John The Baptist Parish in southeastern
  Louisiana...

* WHEN...Until 645 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 351 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly
    in the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Kenner, Hahnville, Metairie, Harahan, Taft, New Sarpy, Norco,
    Destrehan, Boutte, Paradis, Luling, Killona, St. Rose, Ama,
    Edgard, Waggaman, River Ridge and Wallace.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
