Fire Weather Planning Forecast for S MS and SE LA
National Weather Service New Orleans LA

.DISCUSSION...
Dry conditions are ongoing across the region to start this new
workweek. Humidity values will continue to reside around
30 percent or so during the driest part of the afternoon hours,
especially north of the I10/12 corridor. Eventually, by Wednesday
and especially into Thursday and Friday low level moisture will
increase, which will limit any fire weather concerns. There could
be some patchy fog later in the week with the low level moisture
return and an approaching cold front later in the weekend. Winds
through the week appear to be mostly on the light side, which
again limits the fire weather threat.
