.DISCUSSION...
Drier air is gradually infiltrating the area after a weak frontal
passage with minimum RH values this afternoon around 40 to
60 percent. Shallow, light fog will be possible again on Friday
morning around sunrise especially near inland water bodies. A
stronger cold front will arrive Friday into Saturday bringing a
larger shot of dry air, dropping minimum RH into the mid 30s and
possibly upper 20s for some locations. Although winds should
generally remain below critical thresholds, the combination of
lower RH values and increasingly dry fuels could lead to elevated
fire weather concerns into early next week.
