Fire Weather Planning Forecast for S MS and SE LA
National Weather Service New Orleans LA
216 PM CDT Sat Aug 23 2025

.DISCUSSION...

A weak frontal boundary will slowly sag southward through the
area this weekend. A few showers and storms could fire up on this
boundary, otherwise it will bring slightly drier air into the
area and lower chances of showers and storms Winds will remain
fairly light and min RH values should remain well above any
critical criteria.
