.DISCUSSION...
A wetter period of weather is finally starting to set up rain
today and tonight across the area then another system and cold
front expected to bring heavier rain Tuesday and Tuesday night.
Even after a brief dry out Sunday night into Monday Min RH values
will still be around 60% or greater and then after the front
moves through Wednesday we dry out again but Min RH Values will
remain above 50% Thursday and the mid 40s Friday. The rain is
welcome thanks to the ongoing drought but today and tonight`s
rain will likely have little to no impact on the drought however
our midweek system may provide a little more relief with
widespread rainfall totals of 1 to 2 inches and locally higher
amounts over the next 5 days. Drier weather moves back in for
later Wednesday and likely continues into next weekend.
