.DISCUSSION...
Showers and a few thunderstorms will be possible tonight into
Wednesday morning as a cold front moves through the area. Areas
of fog, locally dense, will also develop tonight before drier air
moves in behind the front Wednesday. Minimum RH values will fall
into the 40 to 60 percent range Thursday and Friday, although
winds should remain generally light. Another weak front will move
through Friday with limited precipitation expected, followed by a
stronger reinforcing front late Saturday into Sunday. This will
bring a much drier airmass into the area with minimum RH values
potentially falling into the 25 to 40 percent range Sunday and
Monday. Although winds should generally remain below critical
thresholds, the combination of lower RH values and increasingly
dry fuels could lead to elevated fire weather concerns early next
week.
