.DISCUSSION...

Areal coverage of showers and storms will diminish today as
compared to the past couple days. Breezy to windy conditions
are expected today with sustained winds as high as 20 to 25 mph
and gusts to 35 mph along the coastal areas and south of Lake
Pontchartrain. The latter half of the week will feature
slightly drier conditions, but easterly flow will persist.
