.DISCUSSION...
A much more humid and rainier weather pattern will affect the
area through the weekend as a front moves slowly through the
region. Rain chances will be highest on Saturday and Sunday when
periods of showers and thunderstorms will pass over the region.
These rains will provide some wetting of the ground and fuels.
Minimum RH values will remain well above any critical thresholds
due to this rainier period of weather moving in. Fog will not be
a concern through the weekend as southeast winds of 5 to 10 mph
persist. As we move into early next week, the front should move
offshore with rain chances confined to the coast. Minimum RH
values will fall slightly, but will still be well above any
critical thresholds. Winds will shift to the northeast and
increase to 10 to 15 mph early next week.
