National Weather Service New Orleans LA
1226 PM CDT Mon Oct 6 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Rain chances will continue over the next day or two, but coverage
will be more limited. Winds will also transition to a more
southeast direction and start to lighten. Patchy fog will be
possible later tonight and early Tuesday, especially along and
north of I10/12. A drying trend develops mid to late week, but
winds should remain lackluster. Critical fire weather concerns
will be limited.
