Fire Weather Planning Forecast for S MS and SE LA
National Weather Service New Orleans LA
1235 PM CDT Mon Jul 14 2025

Tonight and tomorrow will see rain chances pull back quite a bit
as high pressure builds over the area. Main impacts from any
storms that do develop tomorrow will be gusty winds and brief
moderate rainfall. Shower and thunderstorm potential picks up for
the second half of the week as moisture moves back in.

Minimum RH values will generally range between 50 and 65 percent.
Winds will remain light out of the south to southwest throughout
the period, with occasional shift in speed and direction
primarily driven by nearby thunderstorms or localized influences
such as lake and sea breezes.
