Fire Weather Planning Forecast for S MS and SE LA
National Weather Service New Orleans LA
438 PM CST Sun Dec 7 2025

.DISCUSSION...

A moist airmass will remain across the area Sunday, with
additional rainfall likely in the evening hours. A cold front
will move through the area late Sunday night into Monday morning,
ending any threat of rain. Minimum humidity levels will fall to
near 60 percent on Monday and 50 percent on Tuesday. While we
don`t see any good chances foe rain through the rest of the week,
winds turn back onshore by late Tuesday keeping the area moist
and in no critical fire weather concerns.
