Fire Weather Planning Forecast for S MS and SE LA
National Weather Service New Orleans LA
147 AM CST Wed Dec 3 2025

.DISCUSSION...

One more day of generally dry weather with light winds but we
will still see min RH values in the lower 40 to near 60% range so
fire weather concerns are minimal at best today. Tonight moisture
will quickly return as weak low pressure starts to take shape
over coastal TX and the northwestern Gulf. Rain will return over
the area overnight spreading from west to east and then off and
on rain will continue through at least half of the weekend. This
will remove any fire weather concerns.
