National Weather Service New Orleans LA
1234 PM CDT Wed Jul 16 2025

A much wetter pattern will move into south Mississippi and
southeast Louisiana for the next several days as deep tropical
moisture moves into the area.

Minimum RH values are expected to be near or above 65 percent
Thursday and Friday. Winds are expected to become southerly by
Thursday afternoon at around 10 mph, continuing through the end
of the week. Wind speed and direction changes may be driven by
nearby thunderstorms or localized influences such as lake and sea
