Fire Weather Planning Forecast for S MS and SE LA

.DISCUSSION...
Typical Summer pattern continues with isolated to scattered
storms the next few days and warm conditions. Thunderstorm
activity will continue to highly diurnal with storms inland
during the day and either gone or over the coastal waters at
night. As we move into the middle of the work week high pressure
will begin to have a grater influence over the area and with that
storm coverage will be suppressed with mainly isolated afternoon
storms. As for other fire weather concerns, typical summer like
winds light and variable to calm overnight and then winds around
5-10 kts coming out of the southwest to southeast as the
seabreeze develops. Humidity values will be of no concern with
min rh values generally remaining in the 40-60% range all week.
