Fire Weather Planning Forecast for S MS and SE LA
National Weather Service New Orleans LA
438 PM CST Sun Nov 23 2025

.DISCUSSION...

The next rain is expected Monday night into Tuesday, associated
with a low pressure system moving across the Plains States
tomorrow. Rain amounts with this system look to range from a few
hundredths at the coast to around 3/4 inch in the southwest MS
counties. RH will remain quite high ahead of that system, with
minimum values around 60 percent Monday and Tuesday. The fog
threat is expected to be lower for most areas Monday morning,
with the possible exception of southwest Mississippi. Winds are
expected to be out of the north this afternoon, but will turn
southerly again for Monday and Tuesday.
