Fire Weather Planning Forecast for S MS and SE LA
National Weather Service New Orleans LA
626 PM CDT Sat Nov 1 2025

.DISCUSSION...

An increase in clouds along with a chance of light precipitation
will be possible tonight ahead of an approaching disturbance
across mainly areas along and south of 1-10/12. Skies will
quickly clear by Sunday morning as this disturbance aloft quickly
moves away from the area. Drier and breezier conditions will
develop on Sunday. A dry weather pattern will then persist
through next week as high pressure builds in aloft and at the
surface. After a cool start to the week, a gradual warming trend
is expected.
