Fire Weather Planning Forecast for S MS and SE LA
National Weather Service New Orleans LA
1259 PM CDT Mon Sep 29 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Drier air is still in place but there will be some slight
increase in the moisture but overall min RH values will still
typically drop into the 40s each day. Moisture will be highest
across the southern half of the area. This will also be the
location with the greatest chance of seeing some rain later this
week. Lackluster winds will be in place through Thursday and may
see a slight uptick out of the east-northeast Friday and into the
weekend.
