.DISCUSSION...

Low pressure will work into the northeastern Gulf late this
morning driving a cold front through the area with much colder
and drier air pushing into the region tonight. Min RH Values will
drop into the 30s this weekend and only reason that it will not
be lower is because highs will only climb into the upper 20s to
upper 30s Saturday and lower to mid 40s Sunday. One fire weather
concern is going to the be the winds as gusty winds of 30 to
possibly 40 mph will impact the entire area Saturday. High
pressure will build in Sunday relaxing the winds. We will begin
to moderate Monday and the next cold front will move through
Wednesday.

.QUESTIONS...

With the approaching cold frontal passage what is the timing of the
gusty winds above 25 mph.

Gusty winds reaching at or above 25mph look likely around 6PM-9PM
Friday night and continues through 6PM-9PM Saturday night.
