.DISCUSSION...
The risk of thunderstorms producing lightning and heavy rainfall will
remain elevated through Saturday morning as a stationary front lingers
north of the coast. The storms could turn severe Friday afternoon
and evening with hail and storm force winds the main threat. Outside
of the thunderstorm risk, winds will be from the south-southwest at
around 10 knots through this evening. Winds will turn more southerly
overnight before turning more easterly for Friday. Winds will also
increase as they turn easterly with winds of 15 to 20 knots expected
by tomorrow afternoon. This will produce some very choppy conditions
in the operational area. Temperatures will be warm this afternoon with
WGBT values in the upper 70s, but will be cooler tomorrow in the mid
70s.
