.DISCUSSION...

Through Friday, warm and humid weather is expected as onshore
winds push Gulf moisture into the region. Isolated to scattered
light rain showers will develop through Friday, but rainfall
totals will remain very light. Another stronger storm system will
then move in for the weekend with rain over most of the region
Saturday into Sunday. However, in southwest Mississippi and
portions of southeast Louisiana north of a Baton Rouge to
Bogalusa line, some freezing rain could develop Saturday night
into Sunday morning as temperatures fall below freezing. Dry and
cold conditions will return on Monday through Wednesday of next
week.
